Our Scuba Diving Services
Our scuba diving tours are done in various locations in San Diego, California. One of our locations is at the beautiful La Jolla Cove Ecological Reserve. Your scuba diving adventure will be with a certified guide (guides certified by internationally recognized diving organizations such as PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc.). You will see California Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Garibaldi (the state fish), Horn Sharks (harmless), and many other types of aquatic life.
Your scuba diving adventure will last approximately 2 to 4 hours (depending on whether you choose a one-tank dive or a two-tank dive).
All gear is included.
What Is The Cost?
The cost of the scuba diving tour is only $99.00 per person for a one tank dive, and $150.00 per person for a two tank dive. (All or partial Scuba Gear will be included at NO EXTRA CHARGE if needed by the customer).
What Days Are The Scuba Diving Tours Available?
Monday thru Sunday
- We meet at 7am and usually finish by 11am.
- All Scuba Diving Tours are Shore Dives.
NOTE: For dive tours that are outside of our regular time from 7am to 11am such as night dives or afternoon dives, we can accommodate you if we have a dive guide available. These dives will cost $50 extra per diver. These dives are by appointment only.
For Individuals And Small Groups
- You can schedule a scuba diving tour as an individual or a small group of four or more divers.
- Private dive tours are available upon request for an added fee.

To Our Novice to Intermediate Customers
We accommodate all scuba divers for our dive tours, regardless of their level of experience and expertise. At San Diego Scuba Pros, the majority of our customers are novice to intermediate scuba divers who enjoy diving at depths of 20 to 40 feet. Those depths offer a much more enjoyable experience for most divers, especially since the majority of the aquatic life at La Jolla Cove resides at those depths.
And to the novice divers specifically, be assured that we enjoy taking our time with you so you can fully enjoy your diving experience with us.
To Our More Highly Experienced Customers
For you divers who are more experienced and desire more challenging dives, we also offer dive tours at deeper depths, up to 60-130 feet. These dives are by appointment only and cost a little more. They are a little more challenging than the normal, shallower dives we do, since the surface swim is at a longer distance.
If you prefer to do wreck dives, we recommend that you charter a boat dive for the deeper dives of 80 to 130 feet. You can enjoy those dives all around the San Diego area. We currently do not offer chartered boat dive services. In the future, we will be offering chartered boat dive services, so be sure to check back on our website frequently.
What We Need From You
- Proof of diving certification for all divers.
- Complete the form "San Diego Scuba Pros Dive Tours—Required Information" below.
- Book and pay for your dive tour.
- After the above is accomplished, we will email to you for completion and signatures: "Tours Necessary Documents" (this is a simple process that will all be done online).
ALL SCUBA DIVING TOURS ARE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE.

Payment Requirements
- Full Payment is required a minimum of 2 days before the scheduled dive. If a dive is requested within 1 day before the scheduled date of the dive, then we will charge a small fee of $30.00.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least three days (72 hours) in advance of the scheduled dive tour will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled dive tour will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled dive tour will not be eligible for a refund.
- No refund will be issued if the client fails to show up to the dive tour.
- No refund will be issued if the client chooses not to participate in the second dive tour for the day.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, especially if they are disrespectful, causing a disturbance, or disrupting the experience for other customers and employees at any time before or during the dive.
- San Diego Scuba Pros will reschedule your dive tour at no additional cost if weather conditions are not suitable for safe diving.
**NOTE: ** San Diego Scuba Pros will give every reasonable consideration to unforeseen events, such as family emergencies, illness, accidents, and similar circumstances. Partial refunds and/or rescheduling options may be available. Cancellation fees may also apply, depending on the nature and severity of the event.
