Search And Recovery Diver Course

The Search and Recovery Course will teach you, (for example), how to retrieve lost items that have fallen overboard or over a dock. Learn effective swimming patterns and using a lift bag for heavy objects.

In the Search and Recovery Course, you will learn and familiarize yourself with:

• Swimming search patterns using your compass and natural navigation.
• Locating large and small objects using various search patterns.
• Using a lift bag for large or heavy objects, plus other recovery methods.
• Planning a search operation based on facts gathered about a lost object prior to the dive. 

• PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Diver (or divers from other organizations with equivalent certifications).
• Minimum age: 12 years old. 

• Four Ocean Dives.
• Search and Recovery Certification card.
• All Required Scuba Equipment plus air fills.
• Note: Study Materials are not included in the price. 

Group Class (3 Or More Divers):  $400.00
Private Class (1-2 Divers):  $500.00  

The duration of the Search and Recovery Course can last anywhere between two days to two weeks depending on whether or not the student’s commitment is full time or part time.

• Full Payment is required before the scheduled course. We will give priority to the student(s) on a first come (or pay), first serve basis. So whoever pays first will get scheduled on the requested dates. 

1. Classes are fully refundable 72 hours prior to the class start date.
2. Classes cancelled within 72 hours of the class start date will incur a $300.00 fee.
3. Classes rescheduled by the student within 72 hours of the class start date will incur a $200.00 fee.
4. There are NO REFUNDS if:
   1. The class has begun.
   2. Clients(s) decide to cancel or quit BEFORE course is entity completed. We will give youa referral form on what was completed up until the time of cancellation.
   3. Clients(s) do not show up to the dive appointment without any proper notice.

**NOTE: ** San Diego Scuba Pros will give every reasonable consideration to unforeseen events, such as family emergencies, illness, accidents, and similar circumstances. Partial refunds and/or rescheduling options may be available. Cancellation fees may also apply, depending on the nature and severity of the event.
